These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Scout House app (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

What Scout House Is

Scout House is a tool that helps families and caregivers organize and coordinate care for a loved one — including schedules, tasks, updates, medications, and other care information. Scout House is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always rely on qualified healthcare professionals for medical decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for the activity under your account, for keeping your login and any access codes confidential, and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any information you add about another person (such as a care recipient).

Care Circles & Shared Content

Information you add to a care circle is shared with the members you invite, according to their roles. You are responsible for who you invite and what you choose to share. Please share only information you have permission to share.

Subscriptions & Payment

  • Scout House offers an optional paid subscription ("Premium" and "Professional"), available monthly or yearly, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • After any free trial, the subscription automatically renews and your account is charged the applicable price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's App Store settings.
  • Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change with notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to access it unlawfully, disrupt it, reverse engineer it, or use it to harm others or violate anyone's privacy.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you add. You grant us a limited license to store and display that content solely to operate the App and provide it to your care circle. You can delete your content or your account at any time in the App (Settings → Delete Account).

Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. Scout House does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scout House and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the App.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
